Shooting follows Rotterdam bar fight leaving one hurt

The police are investigating a bar fight and a shooting in Rotterdam which left one man injured in the leg in the early hours of Sunday morning. According to the police, a group of customers started arguing in a bar on Coolsingel on Saturday night. The argument ended with the bouncer kicking them out. One of the kicked-out customers threatened another while being shown the door. At around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday he returned to the Coolsingel with a firearm and shot a 23 year-old-man in the leg. The victim was standing at the bar's door with the security guard at the time. The suspect fled. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries to his leg. The police are investigating.
