Woman dies after Amsterdam Noord stabbing

A 35 year old woman died in hospital after being stabbed in Amsterdam Noord on Thursday morning. One man was arrested. According to the police, the stabbing happened around 11:30 a.m. on J.H. van Heekweg. Emergency services managed to resuscitate the woman and rushed her to the hospital, where she passed away of her injuries. Detectives launched an extensive investigation and arrested a 36 year old man. The police believe the stabbing has to do with relationship problems. Witnesses told AT5 that the woman had an argument with her ex-husband before the stabbing.
