Rotterdam shooting leaves one dead; suspects escape

A man was killed in a shooting incident on Ameidestraat in Rotterdam in the early hours of Friday morning. Several perpetrators fled in the direction of Kleinpolderplein, the police report on Twitter. The shooting happened around 3 a.m., according to broadcaster NOS. Emergency services tried to resuscitate the man, but to no avail.
