Two killed, three hurt at Heineken factory in Brazil
Two people were killed and three were injured in an accident in a Heineken factory on Brazil. According to the brewer, one of the boilers in the factory in Jacarei exploded, news wire ANP reports.
About 400 people work in the factory, the largest of the six Heineken has in the country. The plant was shut down temporarily after the accident. Heineken stated that it regretted the incident and offered assistance to those involved.
According to local media Fox News Lattino, the killed and injured workers were hired by a subcontractor. They were performing tests on one of the boilers when the explosion happened.
The cause of the accident is still unclear.
