Flight attendant busted with 10 kilos of cocaine at Schiphol

A flight attendant was arrested on Schiphol Airport on Monday when 10 kilograms of cocaine was discovered in her luggage. The Koninklijke Marechaussee, the policing force in charge of airport security, confirmed the arrest to Het Parool. A spokesperson stated that the flight attendant is a Surinamese woman, but could not say anything further in the interest of the investigation. According to Starnieuws, the woman works for Surinamese airline SLM. The cocaine was hidden in grated cassava. The flight attendant is in custody in the Netherlands for further investigation.
