Socialist Party faction chairman compares Wilders to Hitler

SP faction leader in Hoogeveen Bianca Behr caused quite a commotion when she posted a picture showing Adolf Hitler, PVV leader Geert Wilders and American presidential candidate Donald Trump on Twitter and asked her followers to "spot the difference". Angry reactions followed. Many people thought Behr ought to be ashamed. One response suggested a thorough history lesson. Another thinks she should resign. "You can not do that." The politician eventually removed the tweet, but not because she regrets posting it, she said to Dutch newspaper The Telegraaf. "I deleted that post because Wilders clearly finds it enjoyable. He spins a yarn with it. He even retweeted it", she said. Behr still finds the comparison justified. "I'm not saying that Wilders is turning into a mass murderer like Hitler. But he does belittle an entire population group and incite others to look at the group negatively. There are similarities." Behr's party also advised her to remove the tweet. "This is not a SP position. But because I am faction leader, people still make the connection. That was another reason to take down the message." https://twitter.com/BiancaBehr/status/686279383351451648
