British continue hunt for five criminals wanted in Amsterdam region

The British authorities are still looking for five criminals believed to be in or around the Amsterdam region. These five men are wanted for serious crimes relating to drug smuggling, rape and "unlawful wounding" in their own country. These criminals are being sought under Operation Return, a multi-agency campaign involving the Dutch crime watchdog Bel M., Dutch law enforcement, Crimestoppers and Britain's National Crime Agency. So far 14 British criminals were placed on Operation Return. Nine of them were located. One of then, drug smuggler James Tarrant, turned himself in to the police in Breda in September. It was also confirmed that another, Liam Fynes, died in Amsterdam in 2012. The police also arrested a 36 year old British man suspected of involvement in drug trafficking and money laundering in Amsterdam in June, though it is not clear whether he was listed on Operation Return.
