Fighting KLM passengers detained in Houston before Amsterdam trip
A KLM flight between Houston, Texas and Amsterdam was cancelled on Wednesday after fighting passengers had it grounded for several hours, ABC news reports.
Two men started arguing on the plane while it was still on the runway at the Bush Intercontinental Airport in Texas. The men were detained and escorted off the plane.
All other passengers were also removed from the plane and the Houston police and FBI were called in to investigate. After investigation, the authorities determined that the men posed no legitimate threat and that no crime was committed. The men were released.
The flight was still cancelled. A spokesperson for the airport told ABC that the passengers were re-booked on other flights on a case-by-case basis.
