Enschede university recruiting ground for ISIS: report

In April residents of a student home of the Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede received a warning that terrorist organization Islamic State performed recruitment practices there. This happened after one of the residents reported being approached by men claiming to represent a terrorist movement, TV Enschede FM reports. The student home in question was Macandra on Emmastraat in Enschede. Students received an email from Saxion informing them of the incident after the police were informed. In the email the University also stated that it disapproves of such activities and that the authorities will be informed of further incidents. The police investigation confirmed that people went to the home to talk about Islam, but that the word ISIS was never mentioned. The owner of Macandra denies that there has ever been recruiting practices at the house.
