U2 spotted on Amsterdam’s canals

Rock band U2 was spotted enjoying a trip in a boat on Amsterdam's canals on Tuesday afternoon. The band has four concerts scheduled in the Ziggo dome this week this week. According to the Het Parool the band members, including front man Bono, got on the boat behind the Amstel Hotel. The they paid a visit to Proeflokaal Arendsnest on the Herengracht. "They came around in three o'clock with a whole team of people", Madeleine van Ruiten of Arendsnest said to the newspaper. "Although two bodyguards were stationed at the door the atmosphere was very relaxed. Two more walked through the building but they were very friendly. Bono enjoyed our house beer and I think the snacked on some cheese."
