Motocycle club suing police chief for slander

Motorcycle club Veterans is in the court in Den Bosch on Tuesday to demand that National Police Chief Gerard Bouman be prosecuted for wrongly labeling the club as a criminal organization. The club's lawyer Michael Ruperti said this to the Telegraaf. The Veterans motorcycle club is made up of soldiers and former soldiers who served abroad. They stress that they are not criminals and want the "unjustified damage to their image to stop". The Veterans wants the court to force the Public Prosecutor to prosecute Bouman for libel, slander and insult.
