Large power outage in Rotterdam, 20 thousand homes affected

More than 20 thousand homes in Rotterdam have been without power since 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, NOS reports. Grid operator Stedin has announced that the outage is the result of a failure in a substation. The grid manager is busy with repairs, but can not say how long it will be until power is restored. Affected neighborhoods include Feyenoord, Katendrecht, Bloemhof, Tarwewijk and Hillesluis.
