Man shot at Rotterdam barbecue

A 65 year old man from Rotterdam was shot in a leg at a barbecue in the city on Wednesday night. He was taken to the hospital. So far there has been no arrests. According to the police, a number of men were barbecuing in the vicinity of the deer camp on Carnissesingel when a fight broke out. One of the men left the party and came back with a gun. He shot the victim in the leg and ran off. Several police units searched the area for the culprit, also deploying a helicopter. A trace investigation was performed at the scene and the police have spoken to several witnesses. No one has been arrested as of yet. The investigation continues.
