High school students doing better on maths test
High school and secondary vocational school students are performing slightly better in the maths test this year.
The average scores on the maths test last year was 5.9, this year the average score is 6.1, press agency ANP reports based on the preliminary results in the Progress Report Mathematics for the first half of 2015.
In the coming school year, 2015-2016, the maths test will officially count for the diploma. All students writing final exams in high school and secondary vocational education must pass the test to get their diploma.
