Suspected infant formula smugglers held near Germany; €90k seized

The police discovered a large amount of baby formula as well as a large amount of cash in a van on the A12 near Zevenaar. The two men in the van, both German aged 35 and 44 years, were arrested. The van was pulled over for a routine traffic check. When checking the the cargo area of the van, the police discovered dozens of bags containing baby formula. Given the current problem of baby formula related crimes, the police decided to check the rest of the van and found 90 thousand euros in cash. The men were arrested on suspicion of money laundering. They are in custody for questioning.
