Hema inflatable armbands rip easily, recalled

Hema has recalled its red and yellow inflatable armbands, or water wings. According to the supermarket chain, the seams of the armbands are not properly attached, which could cause them to tear easily. This could put a child in danger of drowning. Hema calls on all customers who have bought a pair of these armbands to not use them. They can be returned to a Hema store for a full refund. The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority has also released a warning on these water wings.
