Driver in fatal hit and run turns self in

The Police have arrested a 26 year old man from Rosmalen on suspicion of involvement in the fatal head-on collision on Empelseweg in Rosmalen on Sunday. The man turned himself in to the police on Monday. According to the police, he is the owner of one of the cars that was involved in the collision. Police are investigating whether he had been driving the car when the accident happened. The accident happened around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday. The driver of one car, a 78 year old woman, died on the scene and her 80 year old passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the other car fled on foot.
