Storms, strong winds in Liberation Day yellow weather warning

The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute has issued a code yellow weather warning for thunderstorms and strong winds for the entire Netherlands on Liberation Day. From late this morning thunderstorms will be drawing from west to east across the country. These storms may be accompanied by hail and strong winds of up to 90 kilometers per hour. The weather is expected to clear up by late afternoon. This code yellow weather warning will be in effect from 11:00 a.m. to 17:00 this afternoon for most of the country. For the western parts of the country the code yellow warning for strong winds will remain in effect until 19:00 this evening.
