Massage table collapse badly injures toddler, 3

A 3 year old boy was seriously injured in an accident at a physiotherapy practice in Papendrecht on Friday morning. According to the police, a treatment table collapsed and trapped the boy. A trauma helicopter team arrived to help the child, RTV Rijnmond reports. He had a shortage of oxygen and was rushed to the hospital. The boy was in the building with his mother. She had entrusted him to the childcare while she was busy in the gym. It is not clear how the boy managed to get into the physiotherapy treatment room. This is under investigation.
