Shot 20-year-old arrested in Rotterdam shooting

The 20 year old man that was shot on Bergselaan in Rotterdam on Monday, April 6th, was arrested on Wednesday. He is suspected of involvement in the deliberate shooting incident. At around 21:15 on April 6th local residents phoned the police after hearing shots fired. The police found the wounded man on Bergselaan. He was taken to the Erasmus Medical Center in critical condition. The police launched an investigation immediately after the shooting. Investigators spoke to several witnesses, secured images and performed a technical investigation on and around the crime scene. Based on the findings of this investigation the police believe that the man himself may have played a role in the shooting. The police are still looking for witnesses and ask that anyone that may have any information on the case please contact them at once.
