Islam conference invites Wilders to attend

PVV leader Geert Wilders has been invited to attend the Islam conference happening in Utrecht from Thursday. In a statement on their website the management of the organizer AlFitrah write that he and everyone else - Muslim or not - are welcome. The management of AlFitrah doesn't think that there is much chance that Wilders will actually attend. "Of course we know that's not his style, and as we are used from him, he rather engages to cause a riot and sow more hate." Wilders, along with VVD Parliamentarians Sietse Fritsma and Machiel de Graaf, plans to demonstrate in front of the building where the conference is held. In the management's own words, AlFitrah stands for "combating and preventing radicalization of Muslim youth". The conference will have a message of peace. And all the invited speakers will convey a peaceful message that will contribute to a peaceful society, which is an important goal for the foundation.
