New video of Amsterdam fake cocaine dealer released
The police have released a new video as well as a new photo showing the man believed to be selling white heroin as cocaine to tourists in Amsterdam. Since September, 3 tourists have died and at least 17 have needed medical assistance after using white heroin they thought was cocaine. The latest victims were three Danish tourists on February 25th. Sniffing white heroin can lead to acute respiratory failure. The first images of the dealer were released late last month. The description of the dealer that the three latest victims gave to the police corresponds to the description earlier victims gave, which means that it is possible that the same man is responsible for all the deaths and injuries. The dealer is a dark skinned man estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old. He is quite tall and speaks English really well. According to statements from previous victims, he seems to be especially active in the area around the Leidseplein. The police are calling on anyone who may have bought white heroin from this dealer and became unwell to step forward, as their testimonies may be crucial in finding this man. The police explicitly states that any one who comes forward will not be prosecuted for buying the drugs.
