Van Gogh Museum to get new Museumplein entrance

The Van Gogh Museum's new entrance on the Museumplein will open in September, director Axel Ruger announced yesterday. According to the director, the construction is going to plan. He expects the new entrance to the building to open its doors in the second week of September. Until that time visitors can still enter through the Paulus Potterstraat entrance. "The new access, improved logistics and the larger service area will soon enable us to receive more visitors even better. Moreover we will also fit in well with the changed Museumplein on which all surrounding cultural institutions have their entrance on the side of the Museumplein." Ruger said.
