Primark to staff 400 in Roosendaal distribution ctr.

The Irish clothing chain Primark is going to open a large distribution center in Roosendaal, the FD reports based on anonymous sources. The distribution center should open in 2016 and employ 400 people. According to the FD, the new center has to handle the distribution for Primark stores in the Netherlands, Belgiu, Luxembourg and norther France. The first Primark store opened in the Netherlands in 2008. There are now more than 10 stores in the country. In the long term Primark would like to have about 25 stores in the Netherlands. The municipality confirmed last week that a large clothing store would open a distribution center in Roosendaal. Primark will settle at on the business area Borchwerf II and has since acquired a number of plots with a total area of 16 hectare.
