Some 700 kilos of illegal fireworks, bombs found in Amstelveen

The police found a large quantity of illegal fireworks in a commercial building on Maalderij in Amstelveen on Monday afternoon. A 55 year old resident of Amstelveen was arrested. The police found an estimated 700 kilograms of fireworks, including mortar bombs in the building. The fireworks have been confiscated and safely transferred to another location. The investigation is ongoing.
