Drunk golf cart driver stopped

A 43 year old man was taken to the police station for a breath test in the early hours of Sunday morning after police officers found him driving a golf cart in the middle of Hoogboomlaan in Renesse. The police spotted the man at around 02:45 a.m. and signaled him to stop. The man gave no reaction. The police followed the man until he finally came to a stop on the driveway of a vacation park. The man was taken to the police station for a breath test. He blew 880 ug/l, almost 3.9 times above the limit. The man will be sued. He also received a traffic fine for driving a golf cart on the road.
