"Dagobertducktaks" the new Dutch word of 2014
Dagobertducktaks has won the Van Dale Word of the Year 2014. Ton den Boon, Dutch chief editor of the Dikke Van Dale, and Ruud Hendrickx, Flemish chief editor of the Dikke Van Dale, announced the winner in a short film.

Dagobertducktaks won with 17.8 percent of the votes. The word refers to an additional tax for very rich people. The word is named after Dagobert Duck (Scrooge McDuck), Donald Duck's super rich uncle.
The runners up were moestuinsocialisme (vegetable garden socialism) in second place and stemfie (taking a selfie while voting) in third.
