Netherlands to host 2017 Women's European Championship
The Netherlands will host the European Football Championshipf for women in the summer of 2017, UEFA announced on Thursday.
Sixteen countries will compete in the European Championships for women in 2017. In the last EC in Sweden in 2013 there were twelve.
The European Championship 2017 will be held between July 16th and August 6th in Breda, Deventer, Doetinchem, Enschede, Rotterdam, Tilburg and Utrecht, The opening match will be played in Utrecht and the finals in Enschede.
Last week the Dutch women qualified for the World Cup for the first time. Because of its status as host country, Oranje is also assured participation in the European Championships in 2017.
