Warmest November 1st on record predicted
Weeronline.nl predicts that Saturday will be the warmest November 1st ever.
The current heat record for November 1st dates from 1984 and 1943, when a temperature of 17.3 degrees was measured in De Bilt. In early November afternoon temperatures in the Bilt are normaly around 11 degrees.
According to Weeronline.nl Saturday will be 18 degrees. There is plenty of room for sunshine. This fall the wind has often blown from the south, which supplies relatively warm air. This weekend the air flows will be especially soft over the Netherlands.
On Sunday it will be more cloudy, but temperatures can still rise to 17 degrees.
After the weekend temperatures will drop to normal values of 11 degrees during the day.
