Rotterdam home to H&M's largest European shop
On Friday, October 17th, the Swedish fashion chain Hennes & Mauritz opens a new branch in Rotterdam. With a surface are of 4,500 square meters, this is the largest H&M shop in Europe.
"I dare not say for how long, but that is of course extremely special," said Susan Krau, CEO of H&M Netherlands, about the size of the store.
According to the director, the offers in the shop at the Rotterdam Koopgoot is very extensive, in total there will be 300 thousand garments available. The branch also has the largest shoe department, the largest home textile department and the largest sporting good department of all branches in the Netherlands.
The Swedish company has been active in the Netherlands for 25 years. According to Krau H&M has ensured that fashion has become available for people with smaller budgets.
"The concept of H&M has been well established in the course of the years. besides our own fashion we are even going to expand with designer collaborations, making these products more accessible to everyone. That is our strength."
