Police chase new leads in politician's murder

After Tuesday night's broadcast of Opsporing Verzocht, the police have received more than 150 tips regarding the murder of former Minister Els Borst. Borst was found dead n the garage of her home on Ruysdaellaan in Bilthoven on February 10th. Despite an extensive police investigation, there is still a lot of confusion about the violent death. Opsporing Verzocht discussed several scenarios about what might have happened to the former minister. One possibility is that she might have been murdered by someone with a mental disorder. Police investigators are assuming that a confused person is responsible for the death of the politician. The Public Prosecutor announced Tuesday that they are offering a 10 thousand euro reward for the golden tip. It is still too early to say whether any of the received tips will be useful.
