Investigators seize 34 cars in Schiphol parking lots

34 cars were seized and nearly 30 thousand euro cashed in during a collaboration between customs, the FOID and the tax authorities. At the arrivals vehicles were directed to an inspection site. There both the vehicles and passengers were subjected to a thorough inspection. During the inspections the tax authorities confiscated 34 cars and nearly 30 thousand euro. The state police issued several fines. Two knives and drugs were found during the inspection. Several drivers also received tickets for defects in their vehicles. These inspections were done in an effort to tackle criminal behaviour.
