Limburg WWII liberation app honours 70th anniv.

The National Committee 4 and 5 May has put together an app and a website which is made to follow the course of the liberation of Limburg and then the rest of the Netherlands. The app and the site will be available from Friday, the 70 year anniversary of the the that the liberation of the country began with the entry of allied soldiers in Mesch, Eijsden. In addition to the course of the liberation, which you can follow with maps, photographs and Polygon pictures by town and village, the app and site will also provide an overview of the activities that will be held this anniversary year. GPS coordinates of the more than 3 thousand war monuments will also be available. The app will be free to download.
