The police reported that a man was found dead in a car in a parking lot in Osdorp, Amsterdam on Wednesday. The victim, born in 1988, was killed by gun violence. The circumstances of the shooting is as yet unknown. Het Parool reports that the man played a roll in the murder spree that claimed the lives of many of Amsterdam's criminals in recent months. The man was found in the passenger seat of a gray Volkswagen Polo this afternoon by a local resident. According to the police, the man was shot in the head. The police assumes that this was a targeted action against the victim. The forensic department of the police is investigating a number of parked cars at the intersection of Hegeraatstraat and Pisuissehof. The street has been closed off.
