ING: No plans to leave "Space Ship"

Dutch bank ING has denied claims that it is planning to move part of its headquarters, such as important staff departments, abroad. The Financieele Dagblad newspaper reported this, which the ING has said is "factually incorrect." On Monday, the financial newspaper stated that a new location was sought, according to their sources. The move would be a measure from management and commissioners, addressing issues of risk management and inancing. Several business banks would also be affected, accoring to the paper. A move of the entire headquarter, affectionately named the Space Ship or The Shoe, was never the plan. The Dutch Bank (DNB), as supervisor, is already aware, Financeele Dagblad sources tell the paper.
