Man caught after attacking TV show set

An unidentified man jumped on a table during a live broadcast of the news show RTL Late Night on Monday. Police have apprehended the man and taken him to the station. A spokesperson for the police says the man was arrest on a count of threatening, though who he exactly threatened is unclear. The show is filmed in Café Americain, in the Americain Hotel on the Leidseplein in Amsterdam in front of a studio audience. The man was quickly overpowered and held in the kitchen of the Café, according to senior editor Carlo van Lienden. The man jumped on the table as co-presenter Luuk Ikink was reading the news headlines. Ikink tweeted that the man's motive was unclear.
