Tips sought in Tricht woman's murder
The Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) has done an autopsy on the body of the elderly woman who was discovered dead in her home on the Lingedijk in Tricht. This autopsy reveals that the 66-year old woman was killed. Police are now asking for any tips that could lead to this case being solved.
Police are still in the midst of a full investigation, and is still looking for the woman's grey Citroen C5 with the number plate 69-JT-VP. The woman's identity is not yet revealed.
The woman was discovered dead on Friday morning. a large-scale investigation team of 20-25 detectives was set up to figure out what exactly happened. The circumstances in which the woman was found led police to believe the incident to be a crime. Due to the sensitivity of the research, the particulars of these circumstances may not be revealed yet.
The investigative team is now calling on witnesses. There might be people who heard or saw something that could bring some clarification in this case. Any information, no matter how seemingly unimportant, can lead to the missing piece in the puzzle of this incident.
