We all vote in a yellow submarine

If voting seems to be a joyless occasion bereft of creativity, Den Helder seems to have found a way to make the exercise more interesting. Residents of Den Helder have got the opportunity to vote in a submarine on Wednesday. They can take their ballots to a booth in-between the beds of the torpedo crew in the submarine Hr.Ms. Tonijn (Tuna) of the Navy Museum. Once they have cast their ballots, voters can also take a free trip around the rest of the museum. The municipality of Den Helder is pulling out all the stops to tempt people into the voting booth, and this seems like it could be a very original idea. There are also five other interesting locations set up for voting, such as the mayor's office, or to the traffic control center in the Helderse port.
