Stones unlikely to cancel Pinkpop

Pinkpop organizer Jan Smeets is still expecting the Rolling Stones to perform at the festival in Landgraaf, he tells Show Vandaag. There was some doubt as to whether the band would want to perform due to the death of Mick Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott. The band did cancel their show in Perth, Australia for Wednesday. "As of yet, only the concert of this Wednesday in Perth has been cancelled" Smeets said. "The concert for next week has not yet been cancelled and we are also just expecting them to come to Pinkpop." "We've had it before that daughters or sons of certain band members passed away, but those concerts also just continued. As long as it's not Jagger himself, we're not worried." L'Wren Scott was found dead in her apartment on Monday. She was a fashion designer and has been Mick Jagger's companion for more than a decade. She is thought to have committed suicide.

Rest in Peace, L'Wren Scott. You will be forever missed. pic.twitter.com/6GrbmEroYv
