Zombie Carnaval burglars busted

Last week, police picked up three women who were dressed up as zombies at carnaval in Tegelen, and used their disguises to execute a street robbery. They were wearing zombie masks to go unnoticed as the women bothered several people, and stole one person's mobile phone, according to the police. The zombie lasses accosted a 17-year old girl on a bike. They forcibly stopped her with a dark-colored van, stole her phone, jumped in the back of the van and sped off. The police are still looking for witnesses. The three women, between 20 and 21 years of age, come from Rotterdam, Venlo and Tegelen. Their custody was extended with 14 days on Wednesday, the police report.
