Bubble bath movie theatre to open in A'dam

Communal hot-tubbing. Seems like a relic trend from the 70s, right? But a new cinema seems to think it'll make waves in Amsterdam today. The Hot Tub Movie Club (HTMC) in Amsterdam has recently installed 21 hot tubs and 2 movie screens. From the 6th 'till the 9th of March, you and five friends can simmer in a hot tub and watch a movie in the Machinegebouw on the Westergasterrein. The Hot Tub Movie Club is based on the popular film concept from London. Initiative taker Joep Verbunt said "I lived in London for two years, where a lot of unique events are organized. Now that I live in Amsterdam, I miss the creativity and availability of these kinds of concepts. That's why I decided to organize it myself." With a big waiting staff, free bottle of Cava and your own personal bath robe —of which 150 have been prepared— it's set to be an event worthy of Playboy Mansion praise. Eat your heart out, Heffner. When the movie is finished, and you want to leave your warm bath, there will be a bath robe afterparty, where you can jig to music courtesy of a DJ.
