Part of Aldel remains open

The metal foundry of the bankrupt aluminum smelter, Aldel, will probably remain open in January, reported curator, Erik Eshuis, in the Radio 1 news. The curator wants to keep the foundry open to increase the chance for that part of the company to make a new start. The foundry counts 70 employees. Whether any of them will be laid off after January depends on how the foundry does. The rest of the Aldel staff are less fortunate. Friday at 23:00 the rest of the plant will be shut down.
