Rain on New Year's, but not at midnight
Netherlands residents can expect a rainy New Year's Eve, with the skies clearing up at just about midnight.
The prediction comes from weather website Weer Online, which says those in the east of the country are most likely to be rained on as the new year begins.
Partiers, tourists and workers alike can expect dry weather during the daytime, with intermittent sun. The skies are expected to turn in the afternoon as moderate wins will be joined by rain approaching from the west.
The weather is expected to be similar on New Year's Day.
