FairPhone delivers 1st sustainable smartphones

Dutch smartphone company FairPhone has begun delivery of their first "honest" mobile phones. FairPhone / Wikipedia More than 13,000 units of the sustainable phones have been sold since the November introduction. The company’s 1000 customers received phones just before Christmas. The remaining 21,000 units will be delivered in the coming weeks, HLN.be reports citing the company. The first 1,000 units were sold with KPN contracts. Currently, FairPhone is working to produce a second series.
