Three Australians guilty of death Dutchman

Three Australians, suspected of mistreating the Dutchman, Henk van Oosterom, attacked him jointly and are therefore legally equally responsible for his death, argued prosecutor Brian Nitschke Monday before the court in Adelaide, reported Australian media. The three pleaded not guilty during preliminary hearings. The 39 -year-old Van Oosterom from The Hague was fatally injured in September, 2012. When another man was harassed, in Gawler, north of Adelaide, the victim tried to intervene, but was then attacked himself. The now 22 -year-old Jason Graham Bridgland inflicted the fatal blow, according to the prosecutor. The victim died from internal bleeding. The Dutchman was also beat up by the other two, Alex George Winter (20) and a now 18-year-old man . His name is not mentioned because he was underage at the time. The suspects took turns restraining Van Oosterom. There was no question of the three acting in self-defense, according to the prosecutor, as evidenced from camera images, taken on the grounds of the hotel where it happened. The Dutchman was in Australia for his work and would return home a few days later. He was at the hotel for a farewell drink with colleagues.
