Father, Daughter shot in Amsterdam

A 58-year-old man and his teenage daughter were shot and wounded in the Buitenveldert neighborhood of Amsterdam Zuid, according to Amsterdam police. Police responding to a call of shots fired at the Bolestein apartment complex discovered the victims bleeding in the concourse of their apartment building. They were taken to an area hospital, and were reportedly responsive and alert. Police arrived on the scene around 9:00 am. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Police have sealed the area for evidence technicians. Detectives working Amsterdam Zuid are actively seeking witnesses to the shooting.
