Attack on honorary consul Croatia
The Dutch honorary consul Silvana Kondic was attacked in her office on Wednesday by a man with a knife. The incident occurred in the southern port city of Split. The victim is not in danger. The perpetrator was arrested.The motive for the attack is still unknown. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs nothing suggests the act is related to the Netherlands or Dutch policy.
The 72-year-old woman was stabbed in her head and neck more than ten times, in her own office, according to local media. She was heavily wounded and was admitted to the hospital.
