new measles occurences

In the past week the number of patients with measles has increased with 127 new occurrences. The official total of people affected is now 1162. The RIVM (Rijksinstituur voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu) (National Institute for Public Health and Environment) states the number of real infections is much higher. Not every patient goes to the doctor, hence not every case is documented in the official statistics. Of the 127 new measles patients, 6 are hospitalized.
