Van Gaal Disappointed with Second Half
Netherlands head coach Louis van Gaal was pleased with the first 45 minutes of his team’s performance; however, he had negative reviews about the second half act that lead to a draw with Portugal on Wednesday.

He thinks his players lacked energy after the half time. "In the first half we created as many chances as Portugal did," Van Gaal said. "We created a goal and I cannot say anything [bad] about the first half. "If you do not lose against teams like Germany, Italy and Portugal, you are doing it right, but after the break we had possession and played very badly. "We could not hold the ball and we saw the energy running out with some of the guys." On the other hand, Portugal coach Paulo Bento believed that his team ought to show less mercy with the goal but he was satisfied with their show. Source: Goal
