The Wolverine reached the no. 1 spot at the box office during the last weekend of July, earning €579,036 on its first week.

The new action movie starring Hugh Jackman stole the top spot from the previous week’s front-runner Pacific Rim, which is now third on the list and has so far grossed $1,144,386. Despicable Me 2 remained consistent at second place, making €473,539 over the weekend and $6,492,004 to date. The animated film featuring Steve Carell is on its 5th week. The fourth and last spots belong to comedy films Grown Ups 2 and Reds 2, having obtained €225,958 and €221,003 respectively.

Spitj! grossed €2,307,093 on its 6th week. The drama made €107,420 from July 25 to July 28 and earned a total of €2,307,093. Make your Move, a Romeo and Juliet-inspired film, debuted at €85,865.
